Holiday Inn Alexandria - Carlyle by IHG

We had a great experience staying at the Holiday Inn Alexandria with our family. The location was perfect — right across from the Metro and surrounded by several restaurants, making it super convenient for getting around. We were attending a family event at National Harbor, and while hotels there were way too expensive, this hotel was a great alternative — affordable and very close by. The front desk staff were extremely polite and soft-spoken, which made check-in and any inquiries very pleasant. We really appreciated the restaurant and bar service — great food, plenty of choices, and friendly staff made our meals enjoyable. There was plenty of parking available, and though it was $18 a day, we found it very convenient and worth it. Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel with great service. We’ll definitely be coming back for our next visit!

I’ve stayed here two separate times now, and I can’t say I have any complaints. The staff were always friendly, though sometimes it took them a minute to answer the phone or arrive at the front desk. They were also accommodating to my travel plans.

I stayed here for a week in September. It is a fabulous location, very close to the Eisenhower Metro station. Plenty of restaurants & Wegman's nearby for food. Internet was quick, used it daily. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom standard hotel fare, water was hot in shower. Make sure to request room to be cleaned daily when check in. Since 2020, some hotels only clean upon request. All in all, it was a great stay & would book this hotel again when in town.

Our first stop on our long road trip for our party of 8 (4 adults, 2 toddler, 2 cats)... and it was a pleasant experience for all of us. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, complimentary breakfast was way beyond delicious. Wifi wasn't great on the 10th floor, but our room's proximity to the freeway and height made it ideal for mobile data. The lobby was decorated, there was a bar and cafe, elevators were efficient, and everything just felt comfortable. Pets allowed!

LA made our evenings unforgettable! Not only were the drinks fantastic, but the atmosphere she created was just as enjoyable. She remembered our preferences, offered great recommendations, and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. Her energy, friendliness, and attention to detail made all the difference. If you’re staying at the hotel, make sure to stop by the bar and see LA!

A Decent Hotel In Alexandria, Washington DC. Clean, well kept, reasonable room tariffs, Helpful staff, Close to Ronald Reagan Airport. Close to Capitol Hill and The White House. Ample of parking. Quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed our 1 night stay here.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but when people go above and beyond, it deserves to be recognized. I was passing in the area near Holiday Inn on Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria and urgently needed a reliable Wi-Fi connection for work. I stopped by the lobby to ask for assistance, even though I was not a registered guest at the time. Jadeep and Najowa at the front desk were absolutely amazing. (I apologize if I misspelled your names.) After I explained my situation, they didn’t give me a hard time or turn me away. I wasn't registered as l said, however Jadeep used his personal password to give me access to it. They showed true hospitality and kindness by helping me with access so I could take care of my work. That level of customer service says a lot about the people , and about the IHG brand as a whole. Holiday Inn continues to prove why it’s such a trusted and welcoming place for families and business travelers alike. Great Family-Friendly Stay! We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Alexandria. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly. Staff were very courteous, professional, and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The location is excellent — right off I-495, close to the Metro, and surrounded by dining options. Plenty of parking available too. As an IHG member, I received great perks, and our kids loved the Kids Eat Free program. Perfect for families! Highly recommend and we’ll definitely stay here again.
